Hi all,
I’m working on a Google Ads Script for a video campaign and running into an issue with location targeting.
I can successfully include or exclude locations like cities, airports, and states using the script, but DMA (Designated Market Area) locations seem to be unsupported. I’ve confirmed that I can target DMAs through the Google Ads UI, but I don’t see any corresponding "DMA" location types in the Geo Targeting CSV file provided by the Google Ads API.
So my questions are:
Is DMA targeting supported at all via Google Ads Scripts or the API?
Has anyone been able to programmatically target/exclude DMA regions?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
