Hi,
For one of our scripts we'd like to retrieve the campaign target countries based on the target locations. We've managed to retrieve these for default target locations (countries/cities etc.), but we have not yet succeeded in pulling this information for target locations that are based on GMB location radius targeting.
We tried using the proximity targets function but weirdly enough this won't return the GMB location targets. Targeted locations doesn't return any results either.
So far I’ve only managed to pull ID’s from the GMB proximity locations
through the CAMPAIGN_LOCATION_TARGETING_REPORT. However, I can’t seem to match
these ID’s anywhere. I tried matching them with the location items within the
GMB feed, but unfortunately that didn’t result in anything.
Is there any way we can retrieve the country for GMB radius target locations? Thanks in advance.

Hi Teejay,
Could you tell me what the location IDs for the GMB proximity locations represent when using the CAMPAIGN_LOCATION_TARGET_REPORT?
Yes if you could submit a feature request that would be great. We’d like to retrieve all target countries within a specific account so we can exclude surrounding countries. Especially for countries such as Germany/Austria, Belgium/France/Netherlands this is something our large clients want, since their budgets are country based.
So far we have been able to retrieve the target country for all location types, except the GMB proximity locations. Unfortunately, since GMB locations are usually linked at an MCC level, and therefore contain all GMB locations across all countries, it is also not possible to check which countries are within the GMB feed on an account level.
So unfortunately we really need to match the campaign level GMB proximity targets with a parent country. There already is an Google Ads Script API feature for proximity targets, but this doesn't seem to work with GMB locations. If GMB locations could be added to this feature that would also solve our problem. Thanks for your help so far!
