Trigger Ads Script via Spreadsheet

Hi everyone, 

is it possible to trigger a Google Ads Script via Google Spreadsheets? 

For instance, if a specific cell shows a specific date, could the spreadsheet communicate to the Ads script directly and tell it to start running?

I'm asking to evade the frequency (hourly) a Google Ads Script is running. Spreadsheet Scripts can run on a much shorter frequency.

While you cannot do as you propose, you can circumvent the scheduling limitations using spreadsheets - In effect creating your own scheduling rules.

E.g. you could run multiple instances of the same script hourly but stop executions, if a specified value fetched from your spreadsheet is not found.
