Offline conversions upload - no changes

I am trying to get the offline conversions upload working using the following script:

However no changes happen when I do this. I log the csv data and can successfully see it in the logs but no changes happen. I double checked my column names and they looked correct.

What am I missing?

Hello,

Under Bulk Operations (where creating scripts is located), there is an option called Bulk edits. Take a look at that to see if your bulk tasks are appearing,

One other reason for this could be that it takes up to 3 hours for your conversion statistics to appear on your account. More information is located in the Tracking offline conversions guide.

Thx for you quick reply - still no luck:

Bulk edits - I don't see any entries from my attempt

Waited 3 hours - But still did not see the offline conversion

Bulk uploads  - shows an attempt at around the same time I was testing the script yestereday:

So I added the following header row:

Parameters:EntityType=OFFLINECONVERSION;TimeZone=-0700;

I still had the same behavior as before (successful but no changes) - I will wait for 3 hours again.

I took a look at your CSV file and noticed the cell E3 does not have a value. Check to see if filling that cell with a value solves your issue.

Hi Sam,

If you use "Parameters:EntityType=OFFLINECONVERSION;TimeZone=HHMM;" in your csv headers, it should work. The code snippet you provided didn't work because we didn't support optional params in newFileUpload method even though our docs said otherwise. We will fix this at our end.

Let me know if you can't get the upload to work with the Parameters header.

Hi Anash - I adjusted the csv headers and I still did not see any changes. I also tried a larger set of gclids but still no success.

It seems like I finally got it to work. Here is what I did and how I verified it worked:

What I did:

1) CSV Headers. I used: Parameters:EntityType=OFFLINECONVERSION;TimeZone=-0700;

2) Column Headers. Google Click Id, Conversion Name, Conversion Value, Conversion Time

3) Date Format. MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss

4) upload.apply() I used this instead of upload.preview()

How I verified:

This is strange - I saw nothing in the scripts window that let me know that it completed (still says no changes):

 

Instead I had to go to Tools > Conversions > Uploads and it showed me this screen:

Please change it to see this confirmation on the scripts page rather than just over here!

I am just waiting for the final confirmation to see that the offline conversions are there (~ 3 hr wait right?)
