segments.search_term_match_source access?

Hi Scripts Team!

I’d like to retrieve data from the segments.search_term_match_source field in Google Ads Scripts, which is already available in Google Ads API v21.

When I try to run a query using AdsApp.search, I get this error:

UserError: QueryError.UNRECOGNIZED_FIELD: Unrecognized field in the query: 'segments.search_term_match_source'.

Is there a planned update to the API version used in Google Ads Scripts that will support this field?

If yes, could you share an approximate timeline for when it will be rolled out?

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads Scripts support team.

The segments.search_term_match_source is a field available in the Google Ads API v21, and your error message indicates that Google Ads Scripts don't yet support it. The Google Ads API v21 has recently been released. The Google Ads Scripts are being updated to align with the latest features of the Google Ads API. While a specific timeline for the rollout of segments.search_term_match_source to Google Ads Scripts isn't publicly available.
