Hi everyone!
I have migrated my script (which I use to check for redirections of the URLs of the ads). The script consists of several functions and, of course, some global (public) variables, that could be accessed from every function. To test the proper functionality of the script (if the "new experience" works well), I have decided to put a short logging message (using Logger.log() function) as the very first statement of the main() function.
The problem is, that after previewing the script (or even running it), I am waiting like forever (till the script times out - after approx. 90 minutes), whether something happens and whether the logging message shows up in the Logs. Unfortunately nothing happens (while Previewing - the time is counting, but no log output shows up). When I try to terminate the script, nothing happens and I have absolutely no clue where to search for the problem (after switching off the "new script experience", the script runs just perfectly - like it used to run previously, and as it is expected).
I am also considering, whether something went wrong after switching to the new experience (in the inner system of Google Ads), or there is some "legacy" code in the "background" that is doing some nasty stuff - literally, I have no clue. Should I create a completely new script and just copy-paste the old script and test it out? Or there is some issue in the side of Google?
Thanks in advance for any response, and wishing everyone a pleasent day!
With best regards,
