Hello

I'm new to using Google Ads scripts. I'd like to use them but are they 100% secure? Does using them increase a risk of our Google Ads or Google Suite account being hacked?

Many thanks

John

Not sure if this answers your questions, but scripts are basically independent entities that take actions on the user's behalf. For that reason, you must explicitly grant scripts permission to run.
Only accounts that you grant permission can run the script and make changes to your account.

You can review permissions granted to your scripts and other applications by navigating to your account's Security page and clicking Manage third-party access.

Hope this helps,

Hi John,

@ Nils - Thank you for your insights on this.

I would like to inform you that Google Ads Scripts are safe and secure as the scripts can be executed with proper authorization and access levels. A third party user cannot be able to execute a script without verification of the admin.

I hope this helps! Kindly get back to us if you still have any concerns.
