Hello,
is it possible to exclude automatically (script) keywords based on added negatives to spreadsheet ? For example – I would like to exclude all queries which contains word “cheap juicers” so queries like “cheap juicers ranking” or “best cheap juicers” won’t show up?

Today I know how to create negs based on positive keywords only but I would like to add a script which will automatically find and include to negatives based on keyword.

Thank you
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out. Harry here, from the Google Ads Scripts Team.

You should be able to create/add negative keywords to a campaign by using the createNegativeKeyword method with values from a Google Sheet through the Spreadsheet Service. See Add negative keyword to a campaign for script references and SpreadsheetApp examples as well. For better assistance on how you should use negative keywords to automatically exclude keywords, I highly recommend reaching out to our Google Ads Product Team instead. However, as far as I can tell, you would have to first remove the positive keyword before creating it as a negative but if you do not have the exact keyword text as a positive then you can create the negative keyword right away.

If you have questions or need more help, please let me know.

Thanks,
