Hello,

is it possible to get the Costs per Conversion (many per Click) for each Keyword in  Adwords Scripts?
It's a common column in the google adwords reports.

Thank you and best regads,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

No, the only keyword stats available today are listed here:

The getConversions() method returns the 1-per-click conversions for the keyword, and using the getCost() method you can calculate the Cost per Conversion (1-per-click). Is Cost per Conversion (many-per-click) a field you use often?

Hi Eric,

thanks for your answer. Yes, the costs per conversion (many-per-click) is the most important metric for us, since our users make multiple conversions (different downloads) in one session very often. So it would be great if you could include this metric in Adwords Scripts soon.

Best regards,
Andreas

Hello Eric,

I know your name from the adwords API forum. We have been trying to get our token approved to develop smarter decision tools regarding max CPCs. Our token has remained in "pending approval" state for month. Since there is nearly no communication on Google's side and despite many messages, we thought we should be constructive and use Google Scripts.

1. However Google scripts does not allow us to use "Conversion Value" (and therefore we cannot use cost/conversion value, which often is the return on investment) to manage bids.

It therefore does not allow us to compensate one of the main weaknesses of the Google conversion optimiser: it manages bid according to one variable (conv 1 per click), which is clearly not the ideal KPI for all accounts.

Is there any plan to improve this?

2. We currently have to work with 2 MCCs: one has API access 243  027 2525 (its a client asking us to work on specific tools for the management of his account) the other one has been in pending approval for months  334 719 5535

Regarding this second account, the answers provided by the API team regarding token approval had nothing to do with our projet (absolutely nothing - we even wondered if our emails were ever read  - we did read T&Cs over and over again to make sure we complied - they are right here printed on my desk - our project is nearly a clone of existing projects which use the API).

Regarding the 1st account, it seems they never had to experience such a nightmare to get approval. So we wonder: how do is access granted exactly?

This is a serious issue for all companies applying to get access.

I do my best to remain polite but, believe me, if someone was playing with your job and the job of your employees the way the people in charge of API access have done in the past 6 months, you would be extremely angry.

Thank you for your time.

Thanks for your answer Kevin. We have tried many times.

Anyway, I will focus on scripts: as mentioned previously, is there any possibility for us to work with conversion value via Google scripts?

Unless we have missed something, we can only use conversion 1 per click (a situation in which we cannot add much value vs. the google conversion optimiser) - so if you confirm it is not yet possible, please let us know if there is any chance that we have access to conversion value soon.

Best
Benoit

Hi Benoit,
Unfortunately, this field is not currently available via AdWords Scripts.  This has been requested a few times.  The product team is carefully considering what stats to expose in the future.

OK - thanks for getting back to me. We follow the official adwords blog and API forums - I hope we don't miss the update when/if it happens. It would be really great to get access to these variables (at least if API access is not made more simple)

Hello,

Sorry to get back to you with one more request: the Quality score per keyword would be very helpful. We know that the QS varies a lot but this information is useful for some reports have been requested by client.

Best,
Ben

Hi,
We've exposed reports in AdWords scripts, which allow the use of a large number of metrics: https://developers.google.com/adwords/scripts/docs/features/reports

Maybe you can add this method:

    keyword.CostPerConversionManyPerClick()

This is our most important business ratio.
