Script to automatically change mobile bid adjustment

Hi all,
I'm relatively new to Adwords scripts and have no coding experience, though I've come across a problem which I'm sure a script would be able to solve.

I use the click to call extension and have scheduled it for business hours as that's when my phone lines are open. As phone calls are very efficient for me I also push mobile bids to maximise the number of calls coming through. The problem I have is that I can't schedule the mobile bid adjustment for certain hours only, I either have to change this every morning and evening or leave it on higher bids 24 a day hours which isn't very efficient for my business.

If there is anyone who has a script like the one I'm looking for and is willing to share it, or if you'd at least like to point me in the right direction I would be ever so grateful!

As a bonus it would also be great if someone knew how to schedule the mobile prefered ads to appear only during these hours too (script too maybe?).

Hi Birgitta,

You can create ad schedule for your campaigns as shown on https://developers.google.com/adwords/scripts/docs/reference/adwordsapp_campaign#addAdSchedule_1. Similarly, you can set bid modifiers for your campaigns as shown here: https://developers.google.com/adwords/scripts/docs/reference/adwordsapp_platform#setBidModifier_1. Scripts doesn't support extensions and their schedules yet, but that's being worked on.
