Can't stop preview mode in new script experience

Hello,

when I click on "Stop" during preview mode, the Logs stop to show but it continues to say "previewing". 
In the screenshot below I clicked "stop" after around 30 Seconds, yet it continues to say preview (and doesn't stop). This screenshot is taken after 5minutes, so 4 1/2 Minutes after i clicked stop.

This is also prevnents me from previewing / saving again, since the saving and preview buttons can't be clicked during a running preview.

Hello James, 

I can confirm that I am only experiencing this behaviour in the new script experience. In the old experience it sometimes takes up to 10 seconds to stop a preview, but it does stop eventually. 

The MCC Id is 609-659-1137. It happens for all three scripts that have the new script experience enabled, so this is not an issue of a particular script. It also occurs when I create a new script and enable the new script experience (vs. just enabling the new experience on a previously existing script). As an example you can test it with the script named "[Entity X]_[One-Timers]".

I can confirm this issue. The bug affects all scripts in all my accounts. I have just tested this simple script:

function main() {
  console.log("Hello world!");
}

Even in this case it's not possible to cancel the preview.

I tried to replicate the issue on my end and I was able to encounter the same unusual behavior upon stopping a specific script in preview mode. Having said that, I will raise this to our internal team for further investigation and troubleshooting. Rest assured that someone from our team will update this thread. As a temporary solution, you may refresh your web page in order to proceed in your end.

Hello James,

thanks for the update. 
Another detail to add: After pressing stop, the preview will also exceed the 30min execution time limit (not using .executeInParallel method). I recently stopped a preview, went on lunch break and when I came back the script was still in preview mode for 60+ minutes. So it seems like when that when pressing 'stop' during preview, the script just "gets lost" and does not adhere to any rules / limits anymore.
