Adding price extension to campaign with new script experience active throws error

Anyone know if it's possible to add asset-based price extensions to campaigns?

Creating a price extension in preview throws an error about resource not found, and the logs showed the asset ID to be -1.

Running the same script live throws the following error: 

[The specified field type is excluded for the given campaign or ad group. Also, when I rerun the script, there's no more moaning about a missing ID, so I'm guessing it created the price extension? And here's another thing; where can one find the asset-based extensions in the user interface?

Honestly, this feed to asset migration has been a terrible experience. I gave it some time for all the kinks to be ironed out before migrating stuff, but it's just so buggy all around it's hopeless.

This of course could have something to do with the notification "Turned off on the campaign level" in the `Prices` segment under the `Extensions` tab. Which is exactly why I got in contact with Google via chat to ask them about this message yesterday, and they assured me it was about something else and I could continue working on my script to create price extensions at the campaign level and/or attach them to campaigns.
