Set %CPC bid for Google Hotel

Hi I'm trying to apply automated rules for bid automation using Google Script.

Then setting new bids using .setMaxCpcBid function but then I found out here that it's not applicable with %CPC. May you suggest the alternative?

In the Google Ads Scripts' perspective, scripts can be able to automate common procedures or interact with external data, and it can also be able to carry out an automated rules' procedure (e.g. posting a campaign). For us to have a better understanding of what you're trying to achieve, could you please tell us a bit more about what you're aiming for so we're able to further investigate your concern on our end? We would very much appreciate it if you could provide the following information:

Google Ads account ID or CID
Name of the script
Complete and uncropped screenshot of the entity from the Google Ads UI you'd like to set the max CPC bid of
Conditions set by the automated rule
