If the Est. First Position bid is higher than my Max CPC Bid, I would like to write a script that increases my Max CPC Bid based on the Est. First Position Bid at the keyword level.
I would also like to receive email notifications when this change happens.

Any idea how to make this happen?

Hi Marion,

Thanks for sharing your concern.

I am afraid that there is currently no available script that meets your requirement. However, to get you started on creating the specific script, you may follow the instructions below.
1. You may utilize the Keywords Performance Report and include the Criteria, CpcBid, and FirstPositionCpc fields. You may refer to this sample code to have an idea on how to do it using the Google Ads script.
2. Next is to create a condition that will compare the value of the CpcBid field(current bid of the keyword) and FirstPositionCpc field(bid for the ad to be displayed in the first position at the top of the first page).
3. If the condition is satisfied, change the bidding of a specific keyword. You may refer to this sample code to have an idea on how to change the bidding at the keyword level.
4. Lastly, refer to these sample codes to get notified with the bid changes.

Let me know if you have questions/clarifications with the provided suggestion.

Ejay
