404 Script - errors

Hello,

Wherever I place the 404 linkchecker script, I get errors in every Google Ads account. I have no clue why. I use this script: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/scripts/docs/solutions/link-checker?hl=en

The error I get is the following:

Can anyone help me with this issue? I get the same with the 301 checker.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I've checked on the account (302-576-4627) provided in the shared screenshot and I can see that this is a client account. However, I noticed that the script (404 Linkchecker) is the Ads Manager version of the script. You should use the Link Checker - Single Account instead.

I've tried both, the Ads Manager and Single account script and both didn't work and we get an error:

The Link Checker script utilizes uses a dedicated template spreadsheet for each of the versions. Kindly double check if you have referenced the spreadsheet URL to the correct template spreadsheet in the script. Please see below links for your reference:

• Link Checker - Single Account: template spreadsheet
• Link Checker - Manager Account: template spreadsheet

In the links, it is detailed there how you can setup the script for each version on your end. Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi Iris,

In that case, kindly double check if you are using the same email address to make a copy of the template spreadsheet with the email address you are using in your Google Ads account. Let me know how it goes.
