Hi all,
I'm trying to upload offline conversions to Google Ads using the GCLID-based method, but I keep getting the same error:
"No header row found in this sheet."
Here’s what I’ve already tried and confirmed:
The file is in .csv format, saved as UTF-8 (no BOM)
The first row has the exact headers:
Google Click ID,Conversion Name,Conversion Time,Conversion Value
There are no extra rows above the header
I’ve removed any Parameters:TimeZone=+0100 lines
No merged cells, formulas, or formatting
I’ve tested uploads using both the Google Ads UI and CSVs exported directly from Google Sheets
Still, Google Ads fails to detect the header row and refuses the upload.
Has anyone run into this issue and solved it? Is there something hidden I might be missing, or could this be a bug?
Any help would be massively appreciated. I can share a sample file if needed.
Thanks!
