Hey there,

I have an account that has over 26k products, and there are new products added weekly.

My problem here is that I am looking for a script that would be able to go through every Shopping Campaign, open Ad Group, click on each Product Group & click [>>] for all newly added Items for that group and Save it.

Seems to be a simple enough task to be done by API, rather than spend hours clicking these each week.

Thank You!!

Hi Kaspars,

So it sounds as though you are looking for an automated way to subdivide your product groups. Is that correct? If so, make note that hierarchies are specified per ad group so perhaps you could set up each ad group to contain around 1000 subdivisions.

We have some code snippets here that will get you started. These snippets discuss creating product group hierarchies. In addition, you can also create new shopping ad groups via AdWords Scripts.

Without knowing where your item IDs are stored but if they are in a Google sheet, you can iterate over the sheet, create new shopping ad groups and subdivide the root product group into item ids.

Last but not least, you could use our Bulk Shopping Ad Group Creator solution to create new shopping ad groups and product groups as specified in a spreadsheet.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other issues or concerns.

Thanks,

Hi, Tyler

I'm interested in just the same functionality that Kaspars described. But I didn't completely get your solution. Is there a way to get list of these new product ids (the ones that have active >> arrow on Kaspars screenshot) for each node?

Hello,

Since this is an old thread, could you please create a new one so that it is easier for us to track?

Thanks,
Anthony
