Yes 🙂 So we've been told, that it's possible to run Google Ads, without uploading zip-files, but instead by using scripts. I've searched the web, but I haven't found any specific example of how that script should look like. I need an example of the click macro. And I was wondering, if it's possible to push creatives from Studio, to Google Ads? 🙂

Unfortunately it's not possible to upload the creative files from Studio to Google ADS. The another options are the following:

1.) Upload the files directly to GADS platform.

2.) Upload the files to Studio, then CM360 and then to DV360 and GADS.

3.) Upload the files to Studio, then DV360 and then GADS.

Is it the script you are referring to a "data pass" or "macro" URL to track impressions?

Well if you look at the script I've send, the click macro is set to "%c_esc"

However, I believe should work in GADS platform since they also have tracking links. See this article for more details: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6076199

I would recommend you to keep in contact with GADS support to check with them that is the best solution to add your macro in a GADS creative.

Yes that's correct. Well we create creatives, but we dont publish them. So we want to be able to create a script, which will be used to publish Google Ads. To this day, our clients has been uploading zip-files in Google Ads, but there's too many restrictions in that solution.

We, at Better Banners, are already an approved vendor.

In Google Ads the scripts works by a pre-defined functions which can be used for modifying or creating assets in account.

I'm looking for an example of how the banner script for Google Ads i supposed to look like :)

We generate third-party scripts for all the major banner ad servers, but I haven't found an example of the Google Ads script.

I believe I've read somewhere, that youøre supposed to generate the script from ex. Google Campaign Manager, but that doesn't make sense to me :)

My company is looking to deliver ads to Google Ads, using tags/scripts instead of delivering .zip files. (We've been told that this is an option, but haven't been able to find documentation about this, when searching the web)

I've been reading some of the other post in here, but they all seem to focus on the code inside the creatives, and not on how to publish creatives? So maybe I've been sent in the wrong direction by the support? :)

I would assume that you would like to upload Ads in bulk through the Google Ads Scripts. With this, you can make use of the Bulk Upload feature that is offered through the Google Ads Scripts. Please see also Ads section of the Bulk upload - supported entities. Please keep in mind that Ad properties cannot be modified once they are created; you can update only its status and device preference properties and only text ads can be created using bulk uploads.

 

Here are some guides and references that you can take a look at:

 

• Examples in this link on you how you can implement a script using the Bulk Upload feature.
• Bulk Upload for your reference.
• Best practices for when using the Bulk Upload via scripts and Bulk upload limits.
