Hello guys!

It's the first time I write on this blog.. so nice to meet you all :)

I've a question regarding to the concurrent modification error when I try to update keywords within a campaign. I'm not in a multi-thread process and I'm using just one user updating the entity.
How is it possible?

Another related questions .. May I use the google ads api from different adwords accounts at the same time? For example, for creating and updating different campaigns from different accounts?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Daniela,

It's nice to meet you and welcome to our forum! :)

Regarding the concurrent modification issue that you encountered, could you provide the request IDs or the complete SOAP request and response logs (if you're using the AdWords API) / JSON logs (if you're using the Google Ads API) that were generated when the error occurred so I can further investigate? You may send your reply using the Reply privately to author option.

If you haven't enabled logging yet, let me know which client library you are using so I can provide the guide on how to enable your logs.

As for your second concern, you should be able to use your approved developer token to make calls to different production accounts given that you have the appropriate OAuth credentials to access/modify the information of those accounts. You may also keep in mind that requests made to multiple accounts may significantly increase your risk of hitting the daily limits. You may refer here for the AdWords API figures and to this one for the Google Ads API.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
