Google Ads API Connection to Retailer Benefits

Hello Everyone, 

At the moment, most connections are through SFTP export/import from client server to Google Ads UI. 

I'm quite interested in knowing if a connection with Google Ads API could bring valuable benefits in the following areas : 

• Store Sales Upload
• Audiences Upload 
• Reporting capacities (production of dashboard through data coming from Google Ads)

What i'm looking for is to have a more reliable and stable upload at a higher frequency, in order to avoid errors in the export/inport and to relieve clients time.

1.) Store Sales Upload

• Kindly check our Upload Store Sales Conversions document for information about this information in the Google Ads API. Also, kindly note that this feature is available to allowlisted accounts only. You may contact your Google representative if you need access to the feature.

2.) Audiences Upload 

• As per this document, you may create and update an audience using the AudienceService. Note that each Audience must have a unique name. You may also check these code samples if you are using our supported client libraries.

3.) Reporting capacities (production of dashboard through data coming from Google Ads)

• Kindly note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Data that can be seen in the Google Ads UI can be retrieved and managed via the Google Ads API. Since you mentioned "reporting", you may check this Google Ads API reporting guide as this walks you through the reporting flow in the Google Ads API. Additionally, note that the Google Ads API enforces limits on API operations, such as the number of operations that can be sent to a single mutate request. You may check this API Limits and Quotas for more information about this.
