AssetId not available in headlines and descriptions in ad_group_ad report

Hi,

In AdWords API, the AssetId of RSA headline and description assets were available in the AD_PERFORMANCE report through the ResponsiveSearchAdHeadlines and ResponsiveSearchAdDescriptions attributes.

But in Google Ads API, the AssetId of RSA headline and description assets is not available in the ad_group_ad report through the ad_group_ad.ad.responsive_search_ad.headlines and  ad_group_ad.ad.responsive_search_ad.descriptions attributes. 

Is this a bug, and can we expect the AssetId to be made available for headlines and descriptions in the ad_group_ad report similar to AD_PERFORMANCE report?

Hi Arjun,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

You may use asset.id from Asset resource which is an attribute resource for the ad_group_ad_asset_view report in order to retrieve the RSA asset ID. You may use the ad_group_ad_asset_view_query_builder to construct your query to fetch the required reporting fields.
