List of all PolicyTopicEntry.topic values

Hi,

We use the Google Ads API to monitor disapproved ads and we need to categorize them based on their policy violation topics. To do that we need to know all the possible values of PolicyTopicEntry.topic, but we haven't found a way to list those. Is there a way to do so?

Most urgently we would want to know the API equivalents of the following:

• Enabling Dishonest Behavior
• Unapproved Substances
• Guns, gun parts and related products
• Other weapons
• Tobacco
• Explosives
• Compensated sexual acts
• Mail-order brides
• Clickbait
• Misleading ad design
• Bail bond services
• Call Directories, forwarding services
• Credit repair services
• Binary options
• Personal loans
• Circumventing systems
• Coordinated deceptive practices
• Counterfeit
• Promotion of unauthorized pharmacies
• Unacceptable business practices
• Trade Sanctions violation

Details of the PolicyTopicEntry.topic / ad_group_ad.policy_summary.policy_topic_entries are only available via the API when a specific ad group ad encountered a policy issue. Our team, unfortunately, also does not have documentation on the API equivalent of the topics you listed.

That said, since ad policies are generally outside of our API team's scope, and for all possible policy topic entries in Google Ads, I would recommend that you reach out instead to the Google Ads Product Support team, via this link, for further guidance.
