Migrate adwords api v201609 to latest version

Hello,

I have used Adwrod API version v201609. As this version has a sunset on October 2017, I need to migrate to latest API version v201708. 

Please Let me know steps for migration to new version v201708. 

In adword api, i am downloading 'CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT' for getting cost of Campaign. Is there any change i have to made in this ? if yes, let me know what changes i have to make.

Do I need to change any credentials and parameters to change ? if yes, specify in detail.

You need to follow the migration guides listed below to cover all the changes between v201609 and v201708 versions of AdWords API:

• v201708 migration guide and release notes.
  
• v201705 migration guide and release notes.
• v201702 migration guide and release notes.

You need not change your OAuth2 credentials. If you have any questions about the migration, let me know and I'll be able to help you out.

 I have installed/updated and configured latest Adword API v201708 from v201609 in my project. I can get name of all campaign for set customerclient in ads_api.ini by running examples of- getCampaign.php file (Basic operation) in terminal by following these step (https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/blob/master/README.md#getting-started)

Now My question is :: How to integrate this one in codeigniter ? How I can download Campaign Performance Report ? How I can Pass Client Customer Id dynamically instead of setting it in ads_api.ini file. ?

Please guide me in this regards, as soon as possible.

Hi,

I'm afraid questions related to codeigniter are not in scope for this forum. You can use AdWordsSessionBuilder and specify the clientCustomerId using the withClientCustomerId() method. You can refer to the DownloadCriteriaReportWithAwql.php which shows how to download a Criteria Performance Report. You can download a Campaign Performance Report in a similar manner.
