Life event targeting through the API

Hi,

Could you please advise if targeting life events will be available in the Ads API? As per documentation and client library code, it is not yet supported. In another thread it has been discussed that a feature request existed for this functionality, but it was almost 2 years old, and I would like to have some current information on this.
