Add Keywords without overwrite existing ones.

Hi,

I want to add new keywords to an AdGroup without overriding existing ones. According to this I won't destroy the keywords history if I ADD a keyword with the same text and match type. But it seems that the keyword status is always set to ENABLED even if it was PAUSED and the keyword bid is set to default.

If I want to keep keyword bid and status intact is my only option to check if the keyword exists before I execute the ADD operation?

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no way to keep the keyword bid and status intact when using the ADD operation. Just like the previous post you mentioned, you should be able to get a list of keywords for an adgroup in order to check whether or not the keyword already exists.
