Hi everybody,

We have currently started to work on this new google ads API and I wanted to ask if it's possible to find out how old an adgroup is e.g when was it created or when was the first time an adgroups status was changed to ACTIVE. As I've seen in the new API that we can fetch the change history but that is only limited to the past 30 days so it's of no use.

Does anybody doing that with new ads api?

Hi Anis,

Thank you for raising your concern.

The report type that you can use to identify on when a specific ad group was created or changed in 'ACTIVE' / 'Enabled' is change_event. However, if the ad group was created or changed in 'ACTIVE' / 'Enabled' beyond past 30 days, then I afraid that it will no longer be retrievable using the said report type.

With this, I would suggest that when ad group was created or changed in 'ACTIVE' / 'Enabled', then perform the change_event and keep the returned details for this ad group for future reference.
