Conversion action by campaign reporting

Hello,

Although on AdWords UI I am able to see conversions and conversion value by pixels for each campaign, I am unable to pull the conversion action data from conversion_action reporting API by campaign (there is no resource field for campaign), are there any other ways to get conversion_action data by campaign

The conversion_action report type <https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v14/conversion_action> indeed pulls data regarding the conversion action existing in an account. The campaign report type can also be segmented by including the field segments.conversion_action <https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v14/campaign#segments.conversion_action> within the SELECT clause. I would recommend utilizing the interactive query builder <https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v14/campaign_query_builder> for the said report type for reference.

 

If you suspect a discrepancy on your end, then I would like to request that you provide the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated on your end so we can further check your implementation and investigate:

For the client libraries, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.

 

We'd also appreciate it if you can also provide a complete and uncropped Google Ads UI screenshot showing the information you're aiming to retrieve from your account as it would be beneficial for our investigation.
