AD_PERFORMACE_REPORT not matching with Google Adwords Dashboard

Hello, 

We are using the Adwords API and pulling AD PERFORMANCE report (https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/ad-performance-report) for our use case. 
My issue is that the numbers for AD PERFORMANCE REPORT (Sum of costs) are matching with the Google Adwords dashboard till September 1 but after September 1, the AD PERFORMANCE REPORT is showing higher numbers as compared to Adwords Dashboard. 

We are looking into it but is this something from the Google's side is what I am curious about. We also fetched the AD PERFORMANCE REPORT using the new Ads API and those numbers are matching even after September 1st. So, I am curious that why they aren't matching with the Adwords API.
