We are trying to build some sort of dashboard in which we can see all
alerts including MCC alerts. I have been playing a little bit with the
getMccAlerts function, but there is very little information i can get
with this function. For example when there is a CreativeDisapproved
alert, there is no way of finding out WHICH creative has been
disapproved. The same counts for CampaignEnding, how do i know which
campaign is ending?

Has anyone written some code which uses getMccAlerts? And how do you
use it than, because i can't see how it can be usefull when there is
so little information in the alert.

Hello Sander,

I don't actually have any experience with the CreativeDisapproved or
CampaignEnding alerts (although I'll look into triggering them in a
test account), but you're right in that it doesn't look like there are
fields in the alert that indicate which ad or campaign is the source.
I'll compare what kind of information you get from the MCC web
interface's alerts to what's available via the API, and if there's a
notable shortcoming in the API's implementation, put in a request to
get that extra info added to the API.

If the web interface doesn't expose that information either then it
might be more difficult to get it added to the API's MccAlert object,
though I could see the value of having it added.

Hello Sander,

To follow up on this, it does not look like the web interface's MCC
Alerts interface exposes the campaign or creative id info either. I
don't know if that's deliberate or just an oversight. Given that it's
not exposed there either, I have a feeling that the source of data
that the AdWords API is reading alerts from just doesn't provide the
id information, which would make exposing it via the API more of an
issue.
