Hi Google,

Recently, Google approved my request to get the standard access token.

According to the Google documentation, I can see that with this token, I can make unlimited requests.

When Google approved my request and sent me a notification message, this sentence caught my attention:

"Our Google Ads API usage is free and has no fixed daily limit on operations, but there is a 1,000 'get' requests per day limit. (We strongly recommend you do not use 'get' operations to retrieve objects for processing or reporting.)"

What does this 1,000 'get' requests per day limit mean?

Thank you

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

The '1000 get request per day' refers to the limit on search and search stream. But you can perform unlimited operations like create or update. The Standard access allows the developer token to execute an unlimited number of operations per day for most services. This includes but is not limited to GoogleAdsService Search and SearchStream. For more details on limits and exceptions to standard access, see API quotas.
