One disadvantage of uploading conversions is that Google Ads needs 4-6 hours after the ad click before a conversion can be successfully uploaded as you can see from a tip in this article. If you would like to upload conversions via API, then I suggest you check this link for an overview of conversion management in the API. On the other hand, if you are trying to upload conversions via Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets, then I suggest you reach out to the product support team if you have further clarifications as they are better equipped to provide insights on this matter.
