I work with Matt and let me continue the discussion for this concern.
What my colleague means by the term 'live' is that the ads are already serving or showing on the Google networks.
Also, please find the my answer below for each of the question:
- Could you please clarify: Does your answer mean that we are able to get ad information in this paused state before it actually runs?
- how long does it take for an ad's information (headline, display_url, etc) to be available from the api
- like when I create an ad or campaign in the UI - what time does it take for us to be able to request that data from the api
If an ad is successfully created in the UI, then you can now get the its information via API.
