Can I Create and manage pharmaceutical ads in Google Ads campaigns via API?

Hello,

According to Google article:

"Pharmaceutical advertisers now have two distinct options for displaying a landing page (or final) URL in text ads. You can include your company name in the display URL or you can choose one of 12 pre-defined descriptions (instead of a URL) of your website. The descriptions are available only in English and Spanish."

We have our tool and we want to allow them to upload URL description data from our tool to adwords. Is this possible? what do we need to do? what api methods should we use?

Hi Albert,

Unfortunately, we do not provide support on third party software integration for AdWords API and the tool you are using. The feature you mentioned is currently only supported in the AdWords UI. However, if you wish to create and modify ads in the API, you could use the AdGroupAdService and AdService respectively to do so.

Just to confirm, can't choose "ad display URL" option via API?

Hi Albert,

You could select the DisplayUrl field for both AdService and AdGroupAdService to show your display URL. Let me know if you have further clarifications.
