ASPECT_RATIO_NOT_ALLOWED at registration of 1200 × 628 px images

Hi,

Attempt to add responsiveDisplayAd with AdGroupAdService.

600 x 314 px is OK, but 1200 x 628 px will result in an error.

[ImageError.ASPECT_RATIO_NOT_ALLOWED @ operations [0] .operand.ad.marketingImage.mediaId]

How can I register an image of 1200 × 628px?

Hi,

Could you please confirm if you are able to add the same image via UI? If yes, could you please reply back with complete SOAP logs including request and response so that I can troubleshoot further?

Hi,

Thank you confirming and sending the logs. Upon testing, I found that I was able to add your image via the UI and via API. Could you please try adding just the marketingImage to make sure it is throwing an error? If you still have issues, could you please reply back with your squaremarketingImage and logoIimage as well, so that I can test further?

The situation does not change.

Until the image is successfully uploaded with MediaService,

Attempting to create an advertisement with AdGroupAdService by setting acquired MediaId to marketingImage of ResponsiveDisplayAd

ImageError.ASPECT_RATIO_NOT_ALLOWED will occur.

The same error occurs even if squareMarketingImage, logoImage is not set.

Again, we attach the SOAP log of the entire process, images of squareMarketingImage and logoImage. squareMarketingImage and logoImage are the same image.

marketingImage is the same image as last time.

solved. This is because we set arguments corresponding to invalid certificate sites in file_get_contents when making images as character strings.

I solved it by removing the argument.
