UNAUTHORIZED_CUSTOMER error from uploadClickConversions API endpoint

Hi Team, Most of the times sending click conversions using the google ads API is working. But in some random cases, i am getting this error 

The click ID or call is associated with an Ads account you don't have access to. Make sure you import conversions for accounts managed by your manager account.

would it be possible for you to check if the associated google click id is generated from the correct ad or not? Because this error is coming up only in 10% of the cases which is weird and I don't have any idea on how to confirm if the click id that was sent is a correct one or not.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering an error "UNAUTHORIZED_CUSTOMER" while sending click conversions via the Google Ads API.

It indicates that the customer mentioned in your request doesn’t belong to your manager account. I would suggest you try with the client-id (customer) within your manager account.

If the issue still persists, please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end to better assist you.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

Hi Team, 

Like i mentioned this is happening for 5% of conversions we are sending and the other 95% conversions are working just fine. So, just want to check if the click ids that are being sent along are invalid ones or not. Please let me know if it is possible to know if a click ID X is associated with the ad account A. Client-id etc... and all other details are same for all the 100% conversions we are doing, so don't think issue is coming from there.

In order to check if the click ids that are being sent along are invalid ones or not, kindly provide us with the uncropped screenshot of the UI and updated complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end to assist you better.
