to Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum

Hi, I was trying to query for the campaign details as below:

query = "SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name FROM campaign"

But i didnt receive any response. The log shows no error,

Request made: ClientCustomerId: ***, Host: googleads.googleapis.com, Method: /google.ads.googleads.v11.services.GoogleAdsService/Search, RequestId: ***, IsFault: False, FaultMessage: None

How do i debug on this?

Hi Haruma,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Your GAQL seems valid, and you're using a search method to get campaign data. You may double check if you’re using the correct client account (customer_id) which has campaigns in it in order to pull it using Google Ads API.

If you’re still not seeing any response for the account where campaigns exist, then you may provide us with the complete request and response logs with the request-id, so our team can better check.

For the client library, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option.
