Feed-based migration

Hi Team,

After first automatic migration for ad extensions on October 20, 2021, can we create new account with feed based extensions in adwords API?

1). What about accounts that are created after Oct 20 ? Will we be able to create feed based extensions for them as well?

2). can we add feed based extension after 20th Oct for existing account doesn't have feed based extensions if it was not opted out?

Thank you for your questions. You may refer below for my responses :

1). What about accounts that are created after Oct 20 ? Will we be able to create feed based extensions for them as well?

As per this blog post, and under the What will be the impact of opting out? section, it states that "..and only the opted out accounts will be able to continue to issue CREATE and MUTATE requests after the October automatic migration."

That being said, unless the account was opted out before the said date, then it would no longer be allowed to perform create or mutate requests. For accounts created beyond the said date, then it may no longer be possible to create and mutate feed based extensions.

2). can we add feed based extension after 20th Oct for existing account doesn't have feed based extensions if it was not opted out?

As per the blog post, the account would need to be opted out for it to be able to perform create and mutates beyond the migration date, for feed based extensions.
