The bid_modifier in CampaignCriterion cannot be set for some criteria

The documentation does not specify which criteria can be set and which cannot. Can you give me a specific one, or update the documentation? For example, 'location' can set the bid_modifier, but language cannot.

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are looking for guidance for which campaign criteria bid_modifiers field needs to be set as it's working for the location but not with the language. Note that as per the API documentation, it's just mentioned that most of the criteria support the bid_modifier. Thank you for reporting this information. I will raise a request to update the documentation by specifying the campaign criterion types that support the bid_modifier field. We cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this update in the Google Ads API document. I would recommend you to follow our Release Notes and Blog Post for future updates.

Hi,

Kindly note that you can check the user interface of the Google Ads for current bid adjustment types and their bid modifier ranges. The API behaves the same way.
