Hi

I'm having trouble uploading conversions. We use the Google Ads API for upload conversions through a Java client and normally works fine. But we have one client where we are having both results, OK and INVALID_CONVERSION_ACTION while trying to upload conversions with the same client configuration. My understanding was that the INVALID_CONVERSION_ACTION while result when the conversion action is wrong configured or it doesn't exists. But, how can it be both results at the same time? The ratio OK/error is about 1.2/100

have a good day.

Hello Angel,

Welcome to Google Ads API Support team. Thank you for reaching out to us.

With regards to INVALID_CONVERSION_ACTION error, this means that there was no upload eligible conversion action that matches the provided information can be found for the customer.

For us to investigate further your concern, kindly provide us the complete request and response logs with request id and request header generated on your end.

Note that these logs can be requested or provided to the developer handling the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled. You may check here (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/best-practices/logging#client_library_logging) and click your client library for the specific guideline to enable it.

For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.
