I’m reaching out to the community for advice or shared experiences regarding the Google Ads API application process. Here’s my situation:
I submitted an application for Google Ads API Basic Access on December 2, 2024. While I received an initial acknowledgment and a follow-up request for clarification (details below), I have not received any updates since.
Timeline of Events:
- December 2, 2024: Application submitted; acknowledgment received stating delays due to high application volume.
- December 26, 2024: Received an email requesting clarification about the relationship between my company, Dondo (https://dondo.com), and another unrelated company, Medondo AG (https://www.medondo.com). I promptly confirmed they are entirely separate entities.
- January 9, 2025: Sent a follow-up email requesting updates.
- January 20, 2025: Sent another follow-up email but still haven’t heard back.
My Questions for the Forum:
- Has anyone else experienced such delays with their Google Ads API application?
- Are there alternative channels or methods to escalate this issue within Google’s support system?
- Any tips on expediting the review process or getting a response?
This delay is significantly impacting our ability to integrate Google Ads API functionality into our platform, and we’re eager to move forward. I’d appreciate any advice or insights from those who’ve been through this process.
