How can we generate developer token for Adwords API

Hi Team,

We have Adwords account running for more than 5 years and now we wanted to migrate from legacy Adwords API to Google Ads API, we are using 'google-ads-googleads' ruby gem to get API support.

But with our current developer token we are getting below error, how can generate new developer token which supports Adwords API.

  Google::Ads::GoogleAds::Errors::GoogleAdsError(Google::Ads::GoogleAds::Errors::GoogleAdsError): The developer must sign the terms of service. They can be found here: ads.google.com/aw/apicenter

Thank you for reaching out to us.

When migrating from the AdWords API to the Google Ads API, you can use the same developer token that you used with the AdWords API, and whatever level of access you had for the AdWords API will carry over to the Google Ads API.

With regard to the term of service error, please navigate to the API Center (ads.google.com/aw/apicenter) using your manager account. Scroll down to the Principal Place of Business. Choose a country. Then, see if a Google Ads API Terms and Conditions will pop up. If yes, please accept the terms. You may need to wait about 20 minutes or so after accepting the terms until the developer token can be used with Google Ads API.

If the issue persists, please share to us the complete API logs (request and response with request-id) so our team can further check. Please send the requested details via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.
