Not understanding why I am hitting RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED

Hi

Hopefully someone can help me here. Why am I hitting the resource exhausted limit.

Under API & Services it says I have made a total of 280 requests in the last 24 hours, but I am getting this reply back from the API.

It was just a very classic mutateadgroups operations, the started it, but now I see it everywhere, so I must have been locked down for some reason

@Dennis, the possible causes of the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED are discussed in this guide.

Based on the other information from your partial error logs "rateScope": "DEVELOPER", "rateName": "Number of operations for basic access", it appears to indicate that you have reached the number of operations allowed for a basic access developer token.

That being said, could you confirm if you have indeed performed more than 15,000 API operations already, within a single day? To resolve this, and if you will be required this much operations within a single day, then we recommend that you upgrade to standard access instead.

However, if in the event you did not perform the 15,000 operations, and have hit this limit suddenly, you may then provide our team with the complete request and response logs, with the request-id, so our team can investigate further. 

When sharing logs or code with sensitive information, we recommend that you send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

Thank you for your reply.

So if I make 30 api calls with 500 operations each within 24 hours, I will have exhausted my limit. 

In developer mode I was easily able to do 40k operations within 500 api calls, which is why I was shocked to see, I couldn't do the same in basic.

I need to make up towards 400 api  calls with 500 operations in each pr day, around 200000 operations in total. So I need to update to standard?
