Developer token approval issues

Hi my company does not run ads but I have clients that do run ads. I want to export ads performance data for my clients so I can build a business intelligence dashboard.

My application was rejected again because of no spend history. But I just wanted to re-emphasise that my company is not running ads but just want to export ads performance data for my clients who are running ads.

I cannot link my client’s ads account which has big spending history because they have their own manager accounts.

This is very frustrating as this is an urgent need for me and my clients and I do not see how I can build my spend history because I will not be running ads with my manager account. And the ads account that my clients use are linked to their manager account.

can anyone suggest any alternatives or how much I should spend to get access to adwords api? Below is the repose I got from compliance team.

1. You do not have much spend history with AdWords. For new users, we typically recommend getting acquainted with the AdWords platform and AdWords test API before using the production API. If you have other accounts with AdWords history, please link those accounts under the AdWords manager account (MCC) with which you are applying for a token.

Hi Vinaykumar,

Based on this limits guide, a Google Ads client account can have up to 5 MCCs managing them. You can first try and link your clients' Google Ads client accounts into your MCC and then retry your request to have an approved developer token.
