Hello,

We are trying to add some display image TemplateAds via API.
Customer requires the layout must be set to "Flip Down I (html5 enabled)" but i just cant find its template ID in any documents.

Here are my questions as following:
1) Is the "Flip Down I (html5 enabled)" layout supported by AdwordsAPI ?
2) If yes, could you tell me the template ID ?
3) If no, is there any way we can create the same layout as "Flip Down I (html5 enabled)" ?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

A list of all valid template ads in AdWords API (along with the template IDs) is available here. I'm not completely sure where you saw the "Flip Down I HTML5 Enabled" template, but the following template types support HTML5:
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert if you have more questions.

Hi Vishal,

Thanks for your reply.
Yes i have checked that list but no luck.

"Flip Down I HTML5 Enabled" can be found on our Adwords console UI.
+Ad -> Add gallery -> Dynamic ads -> Custom image ad -> Select one layout, then it shows in the options.

You can also check the screen capture file attached. "flipdown.png"

Best regards

Hi,

Unfortunately, the "Flip Down I" template is not currently available via the API. The closest match would be the Uploaded HTML5 bundle template, if that helps. Please keep an eye on our blog for future updates regarding this feature.

Hi Vishal,
Thank you for the reply.
We will consider the way you advised to create the same layout html5 ads using GWD then upload it via Adwords API.
A little bothered but i think it will work.

Many thanks.
