Does Google ads api proived methods to add company name and logo to responsive search campaign?

Hello,

One of our accounts has opened beta functions, such as adding business name and log to research Campaign. I did not find there are those fields in Responsive Search Ad resource. Are those still not availble through API for now?

Hi Isy,

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support Forum.

You may use this ad_group_ad.ad.type as it has the enum value of RESPONSIVE_SEARCH_AD. For more information about Responsive Search Ads, you may check this document.

Hi Jinky,

Thank you for you response. I know how to add a responsive search ad. For the beta fields, such as business name and logo provided in Google Ads Beta,  they are not provided in current documtn https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v12/Ad. Can I set them through API, or they are only available through UI?

With regards to your concern, unfortunately Business Logo and Business Name aren't yet supported in the Google Ads API, however they are being added and should be included in an upcoming release.

With that being said, what we can do is to advise you to keep an eye on the blog or to release notes for the updates.

Is the Business Logo and Business Name supported in the Google Ads API yet? I can't find it referenced anywhere, but it's almost been a year since it was to be "added and should be included in an upcoming release".

I would like to inform you that Business Logo and Business Name are not yet supported in the Google Ads API. Kindly note that I am unable to comment on any timelines for its exposure. Kindly note that the 'Business Logo' and 'Business Name' are not supported by Google Ads API. Unfortunately there are no workarounds at this time. As suggested earlier, I would recommend you to follow our Blog post and Release Notes for announcements about new API releases and features.

Is this still supported in v19?
Even if you set it at the account level, it won't show up in customer_asset.
If you set it at the campaign level, business_logo and business_name will show up in campaign_asset.

Hi,

I would like to inform you that it is not possible to retrieve the business name and business logo using customer_asset via Google Ads API v19. From the table in this API guide, it appears that both the business name and the business logo can be fetched using campaign_asset resource.

This is because I operate over 100 accounts and would like to manage them all in one place to ensure that each account is set up optimally.
