How to learn Google Ads API starting from Google Ads Scripts

Hello,

I want to learn how to use the new functionality of Google Ads scripts AdsApp.mutate.

However, to know how to use it, it seems that is necessary to have knowledge about the use of the Google Ads API, and I have no experience there.

Starting from an intermediate level knowledge of JavaScript and SQL, what resources do you recommend for me to learn? 

Trying to learn it solely by reading the official documentation is tricky.
