how to upload App Campaign HTML5 by Google Ads API

Hi all,
I have a question about zip package upload.
Uploading a zip package using the MediaBundleAsset method will prompt "This type of media cannot be uploaded through the Google Ads API."
so  How do I upload a zip package of type app Campaign?

Moving forward to your concern, it appears that this is specifically about uploading a zip package. That said, you may see this code example  which uploads an HTML5 zip file as a media bundle.

If the error persists, then please provide the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end.

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.

This can be requested or provided to the developer handling the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled. If it hasn't been enabled yet, then advise to refer to the specific guide below:

Thanks for getting back to us.

Upon checking the stack trace you’ve provided with us, I can see that you've encountered a CUSTOM_EXIT_NOT_ALLOWED error. This error indicates that the custom exits not allowed in the HTML5 entry. As mentioned in this guide, certain types of HTML5 bundles, such as ones with custom exits, cannot be uploaded through the API. ​​For more information, you may see the help center article on HTML5 ads on creating HTML5 bundles. 

Also, as per this product support guide, you may need to validate your HTML5 assets before uploading by running your .ZIP file through the Google Ads HTML5 Validator tool. If you’ve already validated your HTML5 assets and still encounter API error, you may provide us with the complete logs within the format of the request and response logs with request-id and login-customer-id that are generated on your end.

Hi,

I know that you need to verify whether the package is feasible in the html5 validator first, but after I checked "Select for App Campaigns", it can pass the verification, but the same package cannot be implemented in the upload api, because the upload api does not have the option of "Select for App Campaigns".
How can I upload a html5 package that matches the App Campaigns type.

Thank you for the reply.

With regard to your concern "How can I upload a html5 package that matches the App Campaigns type.", as per the first note section of this document, I am afraid that this is not possible as custom exits cannot be uploaded through the API and the option "App Campaigns type." is not present in the API. If you try to upload this type of media bundle, then there will be an error in the API.
