Cant access Spreadsheet using SpreadsheetApp.openByUrl()

Im trying to write a script for my MCC Adwords account which is pretty straight forward. Every thing is working great except when i try to access a spreadsheet using function below

SpreadsheetApp.openByUrl

but i am getting an error saying

Service Spreadsheets failed while accessing document with id.
kindly let me know the solution for this, it will be very helpful, thanks.
