Hi Team,
We have created few audiences (Audience > Customer-match) and uploaded a good bunch of customer emails using OfflineUserDataJobs; The job is completed successfully (i.e no errors reported by API while upload operation, and later status shows "SUCCESS") almost 3 days ago. However we see some discrepancies in the data that shows on the googleAds UI and would you mind clarifying them?
1) For all the 4 created Audiences, the Match rate shows "100 % (High)" and the UI describes as "Match rate is the percentage of people in your customer list that Google Ads can identify for targeting purposes."
Does that mean, all the emails that we have uploaded are reachable and GoogleAds can reach them for targeting purposes?
2) All the 4 audiences created, we see size for Search, YouTube, Display and Gmail Campaign of only 20 to 25% of data what we have uploaded. This is contradicting with what Match rate shows. Could you please explain this behaviour, why it is low though the match rate is 100%? Please refer screenshot- Audiences
3) Audience details page shows no. of panes and one of them is having a graph representing below:
size: Search, size: You Tube, size: Display, size: Gmail
The Audience table has data for all of those mentioned fields, However the tabs show 0 except Gmail as opposed to the graph. (Graph shows the data for 3 of them)
- why do the graph and the size given on the tab does not match? Please refer the screenshot - Audience-Details
4) For some of the audience that we created earlier do not have match rate populated. What could be the reason for it?
Note:
1) This is a PROD a/c
2) We have validated that hashing technique that is done for email ids and it is as per the expectation.
3) No errors were thrown at the time of uploading
Thanks.
