Keyword Ideas heavily throttled

Hi, 

I have a problem with Google Ads API in my organization. We successfully applied for the Standard Access token due to our internal tool that we use for researching keywords (monthly stats, ideas). Since like a month or so retrieval of keyword ideas is heavily throttled and it can take a lot of time for response. Not mentioning that Rate Exceeded Error is just dropping constantly and blocking response. Currently up to 20 people can use our web interface simultaneously and there are situations when they do not get a response and admin need to refresh the tool (surprisingly, then it works). We also have a development team that retrieves ideas in bulk (one by one in a row) from Python and they also experience problems when they query Keyword Ideas one after the other. 

1. What could be the reason for such a behavior and is it possible to lower rate restrictions?

2. Is it possible to have two different developer tokens attached to the same Manager account (one for our web tool and one for Python developers)?

Hello,

Thank you for writing to us regarding your concern. If they are facing the rate exceeded error more often and the response time has been increased while retrieving the keyword ideas, could you please ask them to follow this guide to take the necessary steps to reduce the chances of exceeding the rate limit. If the issue persists, could you please share the complete request and response logs along with the client customer id for me to investigate this further on our end? For your other concern, the API Compliance Team only grant one developer token per legal entity and therefore, it is not possible to have two different developer tokens attached to the same manager account for avoiding latency issues. Also, the developer token do not have any impact on these errors, these depends on the overall server load at any given time as mentioned in the shared guide. Let us know if this clarifies your concern.
